Terms of Trade

1. General Terms

These Terms of Trade govern the supply of flooring products and installation services by MRFloor Group ("MrFloor", "we", "our", or "us") to you ("the Customer"). By placing an order or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without notice. A formal acceptance of a quotation creates a binding contract between MrFloor and the Customer.

3. Deposits and Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of a quotation for supply and installation orders.
  • The balance is due upon completion of installation or delivery of goods.
  • Supply-only orders require payment in full prior to dispatch.
  • We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Stripe.

4. Delivery and Installation

Delivery and installation times are estimates only and may be subject to delays due to manufacturer lead times, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control. MrFloor will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timeframes.

5. Site Preparation

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation site is accessible and ready for work. This includes:

  • Removal of existing flooring (unless agreed otherwise)
  • Removal of furniture and fixtures from the work area
  • Ensuring a level and dry subfloor surface
  • Providing access to power and water as required

6. Warranty

MrFloor provides a 2 years warranty on all installation workmanship, beside manufacturer warranty provided on products itself. This warranty covers defects in installation but does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by improper use or maintenance
  • Subfloor issues not identified during initial inspection
  • Accidental damage or water damage from external sources

7. Product Variations

Natural timber and wood-look products may have natural variations in colour, grain, and texture. Samples shown are indicative only. We recommend ordering additional material (typically 10%) to allow for wastage and future repairs.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation of orders may incur fees depending on the stage of processing:

  • Before material ordering: Full refund less a 10% administration fee
  • After material ordering: Deposit may be forfeited to cover material costs
  • Custom orders are non-refundable once placed

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MrFloor's liability for any claim is limited to the value of the goods or services provided. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.

10. Disputes

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before initiating formal proceedings.
